What is FEMM?
FEMM is an internationally recognized evidence-based body literacy and fertility tracking program that assists women in reaching their health and fertility goals. Our certified cycle educator (FEMM teacher) can walk you through how to monitor your health and fertility naturally, helping you to better understand your body’s signals, identify possible hormonal imbalances and menstrual irregularities, and achieve or avoid pregnancy without synthetic hormones or side effects.
Consultations with a certified cycle educator:
30-minute intro class free of charge
Consultations are up to an hour long and cost *$35 per person. *The fee covers materials needed for the course.
Understanding Individual Hormonal and Cycle Health
In depth fertility monitoring and education for avoiding or achieving pregnancy
Charting analysis and interpretation with certified cycle educator

Parking
Free parking is available directly in front of the clinic entrance (look for signs saying “3W Medical Parking Only”).
Appointment Policy
Effective December 1st, 2025, our clinic requires all patients who schedule an appointment to place a card on file. This policy helps us ensure appointment availability for patients.
No-Show Fee
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, a $20 fee will be charged to your card on file. This fee must be paid before you can schedule another appointment.
Late Cancellation Fee
If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before your scheduled time, a $20 fee will be charged to your card on file. This fee must also be paid before you are allowed to schedule again.
Emergency Cancellations
We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel within 24 hours due to an emergency, please call the clinic immediately. We will determine whether the cancellation fee can be waived and whether you may reschedule without incurring fees.
Visit Fee
Effective April 1, 2026 a visit fee will be required for all appointment types.

No, you do not need insurance to become a patient at 3W. Our exams and most of our services are covered by a service fee, so we don't bill or accept insurance.

All appointments at 3W incur a visit fee that covers the appointment itself, exams, ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and urine analysis.
Additional costs depend on the type of appointment and may include:
Lab fees, ranging from $0 - $122
Veya cycle education, $35 per person per hour
Because we are a non-profit organization and we do not make money off your reproductive health choices, donations are always welcome but never required to receive our care.

Please call us at (206) 588-0311 if you need to reschedule your appointment so that we can match you with the correct provider for your appointment type and accommodate any testing needs you may have. You will still be charged the appropriate visit fee if you call to cancel or reschedule with less than 24-hour notice.

Yes, minors can receive care at 3W. We offer Sport Physicals for girls ages 12 and up, as well as cycle education for teens. View a comprehensive list of all our services here.

Yes, 3W Medical for Women offers telehealth appointments for urinary symptoms, asymptomatic STI/STD screen or test of cure, irregular menses/menstruation, and cycle education. Telehealth appointments qualify for the visit fee. Visit the telehealth page here.

Yes, 3W Medical for Women is located on 45th and 8th in the lot behind the Trader Joe’s on Roosevelt. We are a 15-minute walk from “the W” on campus and a 10-minute walk from the U District light rail station. Bus routes within 5 blocks of our clinic include: 31, 32, 43, 44, 45, 48, 49, 65, 67, 70, 75, 79, 372, and 586.

Veya is 3W’s holistic healthcare program, designed to help patients conduct family planning, explore gynecological symptoms, and understand their own body and needs better. Veya cycle educators are certified in FEMM, and lessons are largely based on the FEMM protocol.
