Graphic Designer - Contract

The Graphic Designer will provide visual design services to WAMS and its program, 3W Medical for Women, on a part-time, flexible contract basis. This role will focus on maintaining brand consistency and creating print and digital assets that support organizational outreach, marketing campaigns, donor communications, events, and patient-facing materials.

Understand and consistently maintain the brand identity of WAMS and its program, 3W Medical for Women, including the consistent implementation of established logos, typography, and color palettes.

Develop or edit existing visual assets to support WAMS marketing campaigns.

Create new graphics as needed to meet organizational and campaign goals.

Apply strong visual design principles to both print and digital materials.

Use clear type hierarchy to guide the viewer's eye and improve readability.

Be intentional about every design choice and able to articulate the purpose of each element.

Design with accessibility across all materials.

Tailor each piece to its intended audience, whether donor-facing or patient-facing.
Attend monthly in-person advancement team meetings.

Typical projects may include

Posters for tabling events

Annual reports

Collaborating with our marketing artist when new characters or illustrations are needed

Event print materials such as menus, table signs, and signage

Digital graphics for campaigns, emails, social media, and outreach materials

Time Commitment

Estimated time commitment: Maximum 10-15 hours per month. On a given month, based on scope of work, either party may request more or fewer hours than the agreed timeframe.
